Every person must take responsibility for his or her own growth as a leader. Doing so requires purpose and planning in what will be a lifelong journey. Here are some ideas and tools to assist you in making that trek.

Becoming a leader is more journey than it is destination. It requires continued growth, no matter whether you are an emerging young leader or a seasoned veteran. Growing as a leader is a lifelong process.

YOUR GROWTH includes several ideas that will help you on the journey.

  • Christian Leadership ADVANCE Resources, in consultation with a significant number of thoughtful Christian leaders, has created a learning guide that helps provide both purpose and planning. • My Planner is a quarterly planning tool that is a part of the guide. For easy use it is offered in PDF format so you can print as many copies of the page as you need, or in Word format so you can create our own planner as a Word document.
  • “Authentic Leadership,” an article by James Galvin and Peter O’Donnell, offers a helpful foundation for personal planning and commitment to the leadership journey.
